About

I have the best job visiting schools, inspiring children to engage with poetry!

The day may begin with an interactive assembly. Then we move on to writing workshops, culminating in a performances at the end of the day, with books sale. KS1 workshops will be more interactive and will focus on composing a poem as a class.  KS2 workshops will learn about the poetry toolbox and how it can help put life and colour into out poems. All finished off with a performance at the end of the day. Please note: I have many tried and tested ideas, but flexible is my middle name so welcome any ideas from teachers,  ie working to a class topic or theme.
